Rites Of Spring

I have been listing to a bit of Jimmy Eat World this morning and so thought I would go back to the ‘mother lode’ of emotional hardcore (although, in the sentiment of Ian MacKaye, it’s difficult to think of hardcore that’s not emotional) Here is a short list of 80’s albums to track down and give a listen:

  • Rites Of Spring – Rites Of Spring
  • Embrace – Embrace
  • Gray Matter – Food For Thought
  • Beefeater – House Burning Down
  • Fire Party – Fire Party
  • Dag Nasty – Field Day
